HomeWaters Club — Creating a Legacy

“In our family, there was no clear line between religion and fly fishing.”
Norman Maclean, A River Runs Through It

My grandfathers were fly fishers, my dad is a fly fisher, my kids are fly fishers and so am I.  As a kid, I didn’t want to play baseball or football… I just wanted to fly fish.  As an adult, my whole career has been aimed toward the day I could spend full time in the fly fishing world.

In 1995, I was fortunate to be able to leapfrog my career from our environmental cleanup businesses to flyfishing.  Since then, I have focused my energies on protecting the same top-notch trout streams that I grew up fishing, by partnering with concerned landowners and establishing the member-based Spring Ridge Club that allows anglers private access to 35 miles of blue-ribbon trout and steelhead waters across Pennsylvania.

In 2006 a group of fellow Spring Ridge members formed Alpine River Club near Vail and Steamboat Springs, Colorado and gained private access to nearly 40 miles of the very best streams and rivers in Colorado.  In 2009 we formed the HomeWaters Alliance, giving all of our members complete reciprocal benefits on our gold-medal trout streams from the East to the West.

As HomeWaters builds relationships with more landowners dedicated to preserving their unspoiled waters, our members will have access to even more pristine, world-class flyfishing streams across the United States.

Providing a secluded retreat for members and their families to easily reach from their homes and work, each of our HomeWaters’ locations offers a relaxed atmosphere and gracious staff. A myriad of streamside accommodations, first-class concierge services and the best fly fishing guides in the region allow our members to savor their time away from the chaos of everyday life and make memories that will last a lifetime and transcend many generations.

HomeWaters Club is where you can Create a Legacy.
