Our world-class fly fishing obviously takes center stage when you think of our outdoor activities. However, don’t let that fool you. We’re not a one-trick pony. Through the years, we have developed additional activities for our guests to enjoy God’s great outdoors.
Shooting sporting clays at HomeWaters is a great group activity at our five-stand and flurry station. HomeWaters' sporting clay range is located on our flagship property in Spruce Creek in a gorgeous valley along the Little Juniata River. The traditional five-stand offers eight traps that are adjusted regularly to provide a different shooting experience each time you shoot it. The flurry station has to be experienced to understand the heart-pounding excitement it creates.
Pheasant hunting with HomeWaters takes you back to a time when local farms produced great pheasant hunting in Pennsylvania. We partner with several local preserves that offer field hunts over superbly trained dogs for pheasants, chukar and quail. For larger groups we also offer one of the finest European-style Continental Pheasant Hunts anywhere.
A morning bird hunt in the fall, winter, or spring, combined with an afternoon of world-class fly fishing on a private HomeWaters' property is a great (and memorable) way to spend a day.
The campfire at the end of the day might just be the common ending to any and every successful day of fishing, shooting, or a business meetings. It might be by one of our fire pits outdoors or by your wood burning fireplace in your lodge. We’ll supply the wood, you and your family and friends will supply the stories and memories.
While HomeWaters is a fly angler’s paradise, it may not be a favorite activity for everyone in your group. Our staff can arrange just about any outdoor activity you’d like to try – horseback riding, kayaking, guided hikes, mountain biking, golfing…for you, for your family, for your business group.
