DESTINATION TRIPS

After years of listening to our members discuss their various “Bucket List” fishing trips, we launched a program allowing HomeWaters members to create lifelong memories together while exploring the world or other fisheries.

FUTURE TRIPS

HomeWaters has two trips for members on the calendar in 2023.

JANUARY 14-21, 2023
Estancia De Los Rios - Chile

Estancia de los Rios Lodge is located on a 360,000 acre ranch on the Chile-Argentina border. Estancia de los Rios has more than 60 miles of rivers inside the ranch and boats one of the largest varieties of waters of Patagonia.

You will enjoy dry fly fishing all day without seeing a soul.

JAN 28 - FEB 4, 2023
Playa Blanca - Mexico

Playa Blanca has quickly become HomeWaters most popular saltwater destination. Playa Blanca Lodge is located on Mexico's Caribbean coast, just a 45-minute flight south of Cancun, in the middle of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere. Sitting toward the southern end of Punta Pujaros Island, Playa Blanca offers the best access to Espiritu Santos Bay, known to have large numbers of all four major flat species and little pressure.

PAST TRIPS

In March 2014 HomeWaters sponsored its first hosted trip to a permit and tarpon lodge in southern Belize, returning annually the next four years. We began expanding the program with trips to Crooked Island (bonefish and permit) in November 2017.

In February 2018 we headed to Argentina for trout, then New Zealand in 2019. We did two trips in 2020 before COVID hit one to the South Holston River in Tennessee and our inaugural trip to Playa Blanca Lodge in Mexico. Playa Blanca was such a hit we’ve returned in 2021, 2022 and are returning for our 4th annual visit in 2023.

CREATING MEMORIES

In addition to great fishing experiences, these trips have promoted camaraderie and created friendships amongst members. We plan to continue to provide members the opportunity to travel to great fly fishing destinations around the world, hosted by HomeWaters staff.
